A Canning Vale storeowner will host an RSPCA cupcake day at the end of the month.
On August 26 Melissa Granger from Fleur de Vie will sell cupcakes with 10 per cent of the sales going to the RSPCA.
Aiding Ms Granger will be Home Made Gems, Frosted Creations By Bel and My Cake Stand, businesses who have joined together to bake cupcakes for the event.
Ms Granger said she loved her dogs and cats.
“At Fleur de Vie our fluffily friends aren’t just pets,” she said.
“They are family.”
Home Made Gems owner Gemma Stoodley said she was happy to get behind a worthy cause.
“I don’t have any kids,” she said.
“But I have fur babies and we all have amazing animals.”
Ms Stoodley said she hoped to raise the targeted $500 and said she was just doing her bit for the animals.
