A man has died and another man has been charged after a serious crash in Jandakot on September 18.

At about 3.50pm a white Caterpillar truck, a silver Toyota Camry and a white Hino Truck, all travelling in the same direction, crashed near the Warton Road intersection.

A 66-year-old man riding in the passenger seat of the Toyota Camry died at the scene.

The other passengers of the car, a 22-year-old male driver and a 69-year-old male passenger, were taken to Royal Perth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Neither truck driver was injured.

The 21-year-old male driver of the Hino Truck was charged with one count of dangerous driving causing death and two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.

He appeared in Rockingham Magistrates Court on September 19.

Police are asking anyone with dash camera footage or information to come forward.
