The Roleystone man, who was not identified, said he would celebrate in style.

A Perth hills man said he was stoked to have won more than a million dollars in Saturday Lotto after accidentally purchasing his ticket.

The middle-aged bachelor from Roleystone, who did not wish to be identified, purchased his 50-game ticket accidentally while trying to purchase his regular 25-game ticket online.

It turned out to be a fortuitous mistake, as he picked up the division one prize on line 44.

“When I looked online and saw I had won, I thought it might be an electrical phenomenon,” he said.

“That or I was seeing things after a big Christmas party the night before.”

After renting for years the man said he hoped to kit out a new place for himself.

“First on the wish list is definitely a new TV,” he said.

The Roleystone man was one of two winners on the weekend.

A ticket purchased at Woolstores Lottery Centre & News in Fremantle picked up a top prize as well, but the winner has not yet come forward.
