Two men have been charged with a string of offences after they were involved in a foot chase with Armadale and Mundijong police officers last week.

A neighbour spotted the accused at a property in Oakford about 8am on January 23 and reported it to police.

Once police arrived at the property the accused tried running away resulting in a chase of about 400 metres.

The two men, a 40-year-old Mandurah man and a 29-year-old from Secret Harbour, were charged with two counts of criminal damage, two counts of trespass, two counts of aggravated burglary and two counts of stealing.

A car filled with stolen household items was found at the Oakford address.

The pair will appear at the Armadale Magistrates Court at a later date.
