The only thing better than a fully cooked breakfast is a fully cooked breakfast in the surrounds of one of Perth’s most spectacular parks and that’s exactly what the Bungendore park management committee is doing on November 8.

The committee will again hold its annual Bungendore park Bedfordale bush breakfast to help raise funds to improve the park.

The breakfast will be held from 7.30am to 8.20am and breakfast goers would enjoy a fully cooked breakfast by the Lions club which included juice, fruit, cereal, tea and coffee.

Committee member Tony Clark said the money raised would go to park management.

He said the committee was also looking at improving signage in the park to boost visitors.

“We would like to define the walk trails better with small direction signs and have quick reference codes on the more substantial signage to explain what you might see,” he said.

“We possibly might even have audio recordings people can download and listen to while they’re walking.”

Committee member Eileen Tristram said the park was a state asset and the more people that could enjoy its beauty the better.

“This is bigger than Kings park and there’s a lot of people interested in fauna and birds and a lot of people interested in walks so we’re getting together to get this money to map the walks out better for people,” she said.

Entry to the breakfast would be via the Southern Hills Christian college car park in Admiral Road, Bedfordale.

To participate, adult tickets were $10 while children were $5, with kids under age five years free.

For catering purposes community members were asked to RSVP by November 2 by texting their surname and numbers of adults and children attending to 0418 111 664.
