A local high school teacher is looking forward to thrilling audiences in what she labels as two of her favourite performances of all time.

Armadale Senior High School music teacher Anea Duratovic will be performing two shows as part of this year’s ever-popular Fringe World festival.

The shows Disney Jazz and Pop into Jazz will be performed live from January 17 at Ronnie Nights in Fremantle and will feature a quartet of vocals, keyboard, double bass and drums that are sure to keep the audience entertained.

Anea Duratovic will be performing two shows at this year’s Fringe World festival.

Miss Duratovic said she first performed at Fringe World in 2014 with a tribute show filled with music by American bassist Esperanza Spalding.

“Professionally being a part of Fringe World gives me the opportunity to really establish myself as a jazz artist,” she said.

“Personally I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t an incredibly fun experience.

“If I get to make even one person happy and enjoy themselves on the night then that’s good enough for me.”
