Local artists still have another few days to submit their entries for this year’s Community Art Exhibition and Awards, hosted by the City of Gosnells.
After much consideration, the city has extended the application/entry period from Wednesday, April 28 to Tuesday, May 4.
This year’s event will include a $9500 prize pool, with the exhibition to be held from May 22 to 28.
Prizes will be offered in all categories, which include acrylic, oil, photography and digital media, and mixed media/3D space.
A new category, ‘Celebrating 60 Years’, will honour the 60th anniversary of the City of Gosnells becoming a Local Government Authority.
The event’s exhibition, official launch, and awards presentation ceremony will be held in the Lyal Richardson Hall, at The Agonis in Gosnells.
