There might still be over 100 sleeps until Christmas, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start getting into the festive spirit early.
Registrations are now open for the City of Armadale’s Christmas Parade.
The city is on the lookout for local community groups who want to be Christmas stars by dressing up and performing in this year’s parade on December 2.
Participants can join in a number of ways: by dressing up as a Christmas character; carolling; or performance demonstrations.
“Young children, and the young at heart, are delighted year after year as they watch an array of colourful characters and performances by local schools, community groups and clubs as they travel along the Jull Street Mall,” Mayor Ruth Butterfield said.
“This is a great opportunity to showcase the talent of your group to the Armadale community as the parade provides a colourful and engaging spectacle for all the family.”
Registrations close at 5pm on September 4 via https://buff.ly/3q9aGCv
