Over 300 big rigs are set to converge on Whitby for the third WA Mack Muster and Truck Show.

Western Australia’s premier truck event – the WA Mack Muster and Truck Show – is gearing up for its third edition on Sunday, March 24.

Set amongst 200 beautiful acres at Quarry Farm in Whitby, this anticipated biennial event has become synonymous with truck enthusiasm, family fun, and community spirit.

Expect plenty of shine, chrome, and colour as a stunning array of over 300 vintage, restored, and brand-new big rigs converge on Whitby.

Get up close and appreciate the sheer magnificence of these powerful machines in all their glory, from eye-popping road trains to customised prime movers, to the unique and rare 1988 Bicentennial Mack Superliner – one of only sixteen ever produced.

You can hear the big rigs roar at 11am and 1pm when all trucks will start their engines and blow their air horns.

While some trucks will be open to climb in and explore, others will be proudly on display, with owners and drivers on hand and always ready to share some fascinating stories about their prized possessions.

The trucks on show will be judged in a variety of award categories, adding an exciting element of competition to the day.

Categories include Truck of the Show, People’s Choice, Best Fleet (min. four trucks), Best Rigid, Best Vintage, Best Japanese truck, Best American truck, Best Farm truck, Best Working truck, Best Tipper, Best Custom truck, Best Cab-Over, Best Bonneted, Best Heavy Recovery and Exceptional Effort, Macks across the decades, and the best of each brand.

The awards and prizes for trucking excellence will be announced at 3pm on the day.

Trucking enthusiasts will have the chance to explore supplier exhibits showcasing cutting-edge products and services from industry leaders and the local trucking community.

Around 6000 people are expected at this year’s muster.

But truck shows are not just for truck enthusiasts, with over 6000 guests expected between 10am and 4pm, visitors can enjoy the family fun, bars, food trucks, kids’ zone, and festival atmosphere.

“The WA Mack Muster and Truck Show is WA’s biggest truck show where you will discover a world of trucks in a spectacular display of power and beauty,” Mack Muster’s Steven Bella Donna said.

“If you have a passion for trucks, want to learn about trucks, or just enjoy a truckin’ good day out on the farm, the WA Mack Muster and Truck Show has something for the whole family.

“It only rolls around every two years so don’t miss this.”

Tickets are $20 for adults and kids over 12, $10 for concession and $50 for a family bundle (Over 12s x 4). Children under 12 are free.

Every ticket sold makes a meaningful difference towards cutting-edge cancer research at the renowned Harry Perkins Institute for Medical Research.

The inaugural Mack Muster raised $100,000 towards Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research in 2020, then an impressive $250,000 in 2022.

This year’s goal has been set to match this contribution and help us move closer to a future where cancer is non-lethal.
