The Perth Football League 2024 season has come to a close, with several local teams being crowned premiers.

Football teams from the Canning, Gosnells, and Armadale areas delivered standout performances, securing five flags across the divisions in a thrilling weekend of footy.

The Gosnells Hawks soared to victory in the Toyota C2 Grand Final, defeating Kwinana 11.8 (74) to 7.9 (51). Robbie Woods was named Best on Ground for his pivotal role in leading the Hawks to triumph.

In the Toyota C2 Reserves, the Willetton Blues clinched a thrilling 8.8 (56) to 8.6 (54) win against Ellenbrook, with Willetton’s Dwain Watkins being named Best on Ground.

 

The Willetton Blues defeated Ellenbrook by 2-points.

The Kenwick Royals celebrated a hard-fought win in the Toyota C5 Grand Final, narrowly defeating the Kelmscott Bulldogs 7.8 (50) to 7.5 (47).

Steele Milne earned Best on Ground honours for his contributions to the Royals.

Lynwood-Ferndale Panthers dominated the EGT West Coast Colts division, securing a commanding 12.7 (79) to 3.8 (26) victory over Coolbinia.

Panther Jett Hewer’s stellar performance earned him Best on Ground recognition.

The Lynwood Ferndale Panthers dominated Coolbinia winning by 53-points.

Not to be outdone, the Forrestdale Falcons won the Toyota E3 South premiership 8.8 (56) to 5.7 (47) over the Warnbro Swans, with Trent Simpson’s standout game seeing him awarded Best on Ground.

The Forrestdale Falcons defeated the Warnbro Swans by 9-points.

At last week’s Perth Football League Awards Night, Mat Bateman of the Manning Rippers was named the 2024 Coach of the Year, capping off a stellar season for our local football community.
