A car has been destroyed by fire while parked out the front of Sizzlers in Kelmscott.
A witness noticed the vehicle on fire just after he arrived at Kelmscott Plaza about 1pm.
“There seemed to be a small flame at the back of the car and it just got bigger,” he said.
He said while firefighters had the fire under control within a matter of minutes the car was still destroyed.
A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesman confirmed the fire was reported at 1.02pm.
Armadale firefighters attended the scene and had the blaze under control by 1.18pm.
The spokesman said the unit stood by to monitor the scene because there had been fuel leaking from the vehicle and the owner had not yet been located.
The cause of the fire was yet to be determined.
