The SJ Shire’s beloved Christmas Lights Competition is back for 2024, offering locals the chance to showcase their holiday spirit and win cash prizes worth up to $1,000.
Is your street a Christmas Wonderland? Nominate with a minimum of four houses for your chance to be crowned Best Decorated Street.
If you’re a Christmas light enthusiast, be sure to register your home, street, or business for this festive competition. Registration is free and closes at 10am on Monday, 2 December.
Categories include ‘Best Christmas Lights Display – Public Choice’ (residential & commercial properties), ‘Best Decorated Street – Public Choice’, ‘Best Overall Display – Judges Choice’, and ‘Best First-Time Entry – Judges Choice’.
Voting for People’s Choice will be open on the Your Say SJ website from Friday 6 December at 12pm to Monday 16 December at 2pm.
Displays will be photographed during the week of Monday 2 December, and winners will be announced on Wednesday 18 December.
