The festive season kicked off in style on Friday as the annual SJ Christmas Street Festival brought Mundijong alive with holiday magic.

The much-anticipated community event, now in its fourth year, welcomed an impressive crowd of around 5,500 attendees who enjoyed a night filled with festive fun, food, and entertainment for all ages.

Kids and families loved the fun activities such as face painting, mini golf, the smoothie bike, spin-the-prize-wheel, and the popular reptile stall. The mocktail bar and slushie truck were also a hit, providing refreshing drinks to beat the heat.

The event wasn’t just for people—Bear, the “goodest girl ever”, stole hearts as a friendly four-legged attendee who enjoyed plenty of pats.

The Mundi Estate Community Stage showcased a wonderful line-up of entertainment throughout the event. The evening began with a charming Christmas song performance by Jarrahdale Primary School, followed by a magic show with none other than Blitz the Magician.

A lively Christmas dance party had plenty moving to beloved holiday tunes, while the CSO Youth Quintet and the Heritage Country Choir added a touch of musical elegance and festive tradition.

The Skelton Duo brought their talent to the stage, and the night concluded beautifully with Christmas background music.

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale said it was proud to continue this cherished tradition, made possible with the generous support of Mundi Estate who was the primary sponsor of the event, as well as Byford & Districts Community Bank, Doral, and Wormall Group.

And it looks forward to welcoming even more people next year.
