Man Charged after stabbing incident at Thornlie Square

The incident occurred at Thornlie Square shopping centre on Tuesday, December 17.

A 25-year-old man from Thornlie has been charged by Armadale Detectives after a stabbing incident at Thornlie Square shopping centre on Tuesday afternoon.

Police say they were called to the centre located on Spencer Road after reports of two injured males.

Upon their arrival, officers were told that the men had already departed the scene.

A 23-year-old man was later transported by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of a leg injury.

A 21-year-old man later presented at Armadale Hospital with a minor leg injury.

Following investigations, Armadale Detectives charged the 25-year-old with Grievous Bodily Harm, Unlawful Wounding, and Failing to Obey an Order Given by an Officer.

He is due to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court on Wednesday, December 18.
