Truck rolls over in Armadale
A truck driver walked away unscathed from a rollover on South West Highway near the Armadale Industrial Estate yesterday morning.
Onlookers ran to help the driver after his truck and trailer loaded with gravel left the road and ploughed through a power pole, fence and five parked cars outside Ranger Auto Electrics, before tipping onto its side and hitting the building.
Emergency services were called to the scene just after 7am.
But thankfully an ambulance was not required, as the driver (a man in his 50s) was not injured.
Fire crews stayed to provide fire protection and help clean up the huge mess.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
