Police are calling for witnesses after a crash involving an allegedly stolen grey Nissan Tida injured three teenage girls in Maddington yesterday.
A police spokesman said the driver of the Nissan, believed to be a teenage boy, allegedly ran from the scene.
The crash happened yesterday just after 1pm on Tonkin Highway near Gosnells Road West.
The spokesman confirmed there were five juveniles in the Nissan, including three teenage girls who were taken to hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was allegedly stolen from North Perth earlier in the day.
It was travelling in a southerly direction when it collided with the rear end of another vehicle.
The Nissan then crossed the median strip into the north bound lanes where it slammed head on with a truck.
The extent of the girls’ injuries was not yet known.
Anyone who saw the crash or knows anything about the driver should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
