Women targeted in Langford robberies
Police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate two late-night robberies in Langford, where two women were targeted in separate incidents just minutes apart.
The robberies occurred last Tuesday night, January 31.
The first incident took place at approximately 9:38 pm when a woman in her 20s was approached while waiting at a bus stop on Langford Avenue near Wingrove Road.
The man threatened the woman and stole her handbag before fleeing the area, heading towards Osten Drive.
The accused is described as being in his late twenties, approximately 170cm tall, of medium build, with short dark hair. He was wearing black pants, a black shirt with white writing on the front, and a white face covering pulled up over his face.
The second incident occurred in the area the man was seen fleeing to, at around 9:45 pm, on a footpath along Norbury Road, when a woman, also in her 20s, was approached by a man who demanded her mobile phone.
When the woman refused, the man assaulted her before fleeing the area empty-handed.
The man in this second incident is described as having short, dark curly hair, a small amount of facial hair, and a split lip. He was wearing dark clothing and slides on his feet.
Detectives believe the two incidents may be linked and are urging anyone with information that may assist with their investigation to come forward.

Riverton man charged over 3D-printed firearms
A 42-year-old man from Riverton has been charged with firearm manufacturing offences after police allegedly found two 3D-printed firearms in his possession.
On Thursday, January 30, at about 10:30pm, the accused was travelling in Ascot along Epsom Avenue in an orange Holden Trax when he was stopped by officers conducting a routine traffic stop.
During a search of the vehicle, officers allegedly found methylamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and the two 3D-printed firearms.
A short time later, at around 12:05am on Friday, January 31, 2025, police executed a search warrant at the man’s address in Riverton, where two 3D printers were allegedly found.
Detectives from the Rapid Apprehension Squad have charged the 42-year-old man with possessing an unlicensed firearm/ammunition, possessing firearm technology without a licence, manufacturing a firearm or prohibited accessory without a licence, possessing a prohibited drug (methylamphetamine), and possessing drug paraphernalia containing a prohibited drug.
The man appeared before the Perth Magistrates Court on Friday, January 31.
Violent altercation at servo
Cannington Detectives are seeking public assistance as they investigate a violent confrontation that occurred in Belmont last week.
At approximately 6.10 pm on Thursday, 30 January, a white Hyundai hatchback was pursued by a white Volkswagen Golf along Great Eastern Highway before both vehicles stopped at a service station near Epsom Avenue.
Both drivers and passengers then exited their vehicles, where a confrontation followed.
The female driver of the white Hyundai hatchback was then assaulted, and during the attack, her handbag was stolen by the occupants of the Volkswagen Golf.
A short time later, the occupants of both vehicles were involved in another altercation near a set of units on Epsom Avenue.
Police are appealing for Dash Cam or CCTV footage from anyone in the vicinity of the service station on Great Eastern Highway in Belmont at the time of the incident.

Ferndale man charged over 2006 Southern River armed robbery
Utilising advances in forensic technology, detectives from Cold Case Investigations have charged a 54-year-old man from Ferndale, 18 years after an armed robbery at a Southern River residence.
On Monday, October 9, 2006, police allege that around 8 pm, the accused, disguised as a maintenance worker, claimed he was sent to repair structural damage at the front of the property.
Armed with a knife, the man allegedly threatened and tied up the occupants before stealing various items and leaving the premises.
The 54-year-old man has been charged with three counts of aggravated armed robbery, three counts of deprivation of liberty, and one count of aggravated burglary and committing an offence in a dwelling.
He appeared before the Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday, February 4.
Motorcyclist dies after Kwinana Freeway collision
Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking the public’s assistance following a fatal crash in Bibra Lake on Sunday, February 2, 2025, which claimed the life of a 58-year-old man.
At approximately 8:45 am, the 58-year-old was travelling north on the Kwinana Freeway, riding his black Harley Davidson FXD series motorcycle with a group of other riders.
The man was at the rear of the group, and as they took the exit towards Roe Highway/Murdoch Drive, he lost control of his motorcycle after clipping an island, causing him to fall and collide with a white Nissan Tiida hatchback travelling towards the same exit.
The rider sustained critical injuries in the crash and was conveyed by ambulance to Fiona Stanley Hospital, where he later died.
The 73-year-old woman driving the Nissan Tiida was unharmed.
