After a year’s hiatus, the Jarrahdale Guided Walks are back with a bang.

The first walk for this year will be on Sunday April 7, which coincides with State Heritage Month.

The group aims to show people a little bit of Jarrahdale’s timber history and natural heritage on a gentle stroll through the Jarrahdale Heritage Park.

The walk is aimed at families, with activities for children to enjoy.

The day will start and end at the Bruno Gianatti Hall on Munro Street. Registration is from 8.40am with a 9am-sharp start and midday finish.

A small fee per walker is required to help maintain the trails: $7.50 per adult, $2.50 per school-aged child, and $15 per family (2 adults, 2 children).

Walkers are required to bring sturdy shoes, water, a trail snack, weather protection and insect repellent.
