Police are investigating a chilling social media post allegedly threatening students at Cecil Andrews High School in Seville Grove.

The post appeared on Facebook earlier today, warning parents to pick their children up immediately before the end of the day and threatening the lives of those who remained.

It stated ‘when the last bell rings blood will rain and all your kids will fall’.

The post also mentioned a damaged ‘Mazda 3’ and stated whoever discovered who had damaged the vehicle would be ‘excluded.’

A police spokeswoman confirmed police were aware of the threat and were ‘making enquiries’.

She said police were initially called to the school this morning in relation to a damaged car that had been found abandoned there.

She said police were looking into links between the threat and the abandoned car.

A person is assisting police with their enquiries.

Parents took to social media to express their concern with many saying they had taken their children home early.

An Education Department spokeswoman said the school responded to the threats immediately by informing police and sending text messages to keep parents updated.
