The Bletchley Blasters are on their way to nationals after winning the state level finals.

The Bletchley Park girls cricket team won the state level finals on November 24 at the WACA beating Wembley Primary School 220 to 109.

The year five and six students who make up the team Bletchley Blasters, will go on to represent WA at the nationals, playing at the MCG on December 5.

This is the first time the Blasters have reached the nationals beating Pingelly Primary School, Caralee Primary and Mindarie Primary.

Bletchley Park Primary School principal Rebecca Burns said the school was very proud of the achievement.

“We are excited for the girls to be travelling to Melbourne and participating in the nationals,” she said.

“They have trained exceptionally hard to get to this position.”

Mrs Burns said the efforts of the Bletchley Blasters coaches aided the team to victory.
