Car chases, explosions, submarines, nuclear missiles and witty banter between Dwayne ‘The Rock,’ Johnson and Jason Statham is The Fate of the Furious.
Many fans, including myself, thought the franchise should have ended with the seventh instalment, which handled the tragic death of lead actor Paul Walker with grace and Charlie Puth’s record-breaking song, See You Again.
I was sceptical about the latest movie in the franchise but by the end of it, it left me with a big grin on my face and wanting to watch it again.

We have grown to love the characters and seen them grown on screen for more than 10 years.
This time around Dominic Torreto (Vin Diesel) has gone rogue teaming up with the cold hearted Cipher (Charlize Theron).
His team is back, and joining them is the rookie agent Little Nobody (Scott Eastwood) as they work together to get Dom back and the save the world.
Stealing the movie is without a doubt Jason Statham fighting the bad guys while holding a baby and coming in a close second is Oscar winner Helen Mirren uttering the line, ‘they’ve stolen the devil’s bum or something like that.’
The Fate of the Furious promises laughs (at the actors or with the actors is entirely up to you) action and the true meaning of family.
