Children’s Week celebrations were a barrel of fun last week as many residents young and old enjoyed a packed schedule of events across the City of Armadale.
National Children’s Week, which was celebrated between October 21 and 29, providing residents with the perfect time to create awareness of the needs and achievements of children in the city.
Events ranged from arts activities and outdoor fun to workshops for parents and a scheduled playgroup at Memorial Park.
Mayor Henry Zelones said the fun-filled events created an opportunity to put the focus on nurturing the children of today to ensure they were supported in reaching their full potential.
