Round 1 saw great starting wins from both the Kelmscott Bulldogs Women’s and Men’s League teams, and strong foundations for the Reserves and new Colts players.
Last Saturday, new senior coach Aaron Hayden led the Bulldogs League team into their first victory for the season, defeating Trinity Aquinas 7.5 (47) to Bulldogs 15.12 (102).
It was also a show-stopping victory by the returning Premiers Women’s team as they kicked an outstanding 24 unanswered goals against Forrestdale.
Summer Yarran kicked 6, supported by Anna-Shae Michael with 5, Hayley McHenry and Tyla Fitzgerald with 4 each, Louise Knitter with 3, and one each to Jorja Sheppard and Shaya Yarran.
