Shire President Rob Coales hit the right note last week when he popped by to meet the carols team, handing over a shire grant for $19,117.

It’s time to Come All Ye Faithful to the annual Byford Carols.

For over 30 years, the Byford community has been celebrating Christmas together in its annual family-friendly event.

The Carols will be held this Saturday (December 2) at Briggs Park.

The program starts at 6pm with family entertainment, including a visit from Santa himself.

Carols will start from 7pm and end at approximately 8.30pm.

Entry is free and there will be kids craft activities and a free sausage sizzle. A coffee van and ice cream truck will also be inattendance.

There’s plenty of free parking available including accessible parking, with entry to the event off Mead St. Everyone is welcome.
