The tradition to meet and keep Nashos WA running and going continues as the group met last weekend for one last time before the end of the year.

The aim of the event was to get ex national servicemen together in forming a mateship within the Nashos WA group.

About 40 people attended the event and Nashos WA member Bob McGuire said new people became members of the group.

“The camaraderie of the former service
men was overwhelming,” he said.

Mr McGuire said the group will continue to welcome new partners of ex national servicemen to attend and join in with the event.

“This helps make our group a more social atmosphere and everyone gets on well.”

There are also no fees to join us as long as you were were a Nasho.

The group meets twice a year on the first Saturday of June and December and has been going since 2008.
