Canning Show organisers are pleading for information after a priceless exhibit was stolen from a display yesterday, just a day before the show was set to kick-off.
Show organisers said the item was a beautifully crafted home wooden table.
“This piece is a family heirloom, lovingly carved by an elderly visually impaired gentleman,” they said.
They said it was taken from a display at the Canning Showgrounds on the corner of Station Street and Albany Highway, Cannington around Wednesday evening.
They are appealing to the public for information or the return of the table.
The Canning Show runs tonight and tomorrow at the Canning Showgrounds.
