An Armadale man’s passion for Australian muscle cars will roar through the streets of Perth this Sunday on the fifth annual X series Ford Falcon car cruise.
Kevin Bradney and his 1975 XB GS series Falcon will join 15 to 20 other X series Falcon enthusiasts on the two-hour cruise, which starts off Cockram Street in Cannington and ends in the Perth hills.
Mr Bradney said he started the car cruise in 2011 after taking part in a car cruise in South Australia.
“That inspired me to have a go here in Perth, I feel these old Fords have that muscle look to them,” he said.
“It is a buzz to see the looks on people’s faces in today’s world when one of these old cars are out on the road. You just don’t get that while driving a modern car.”
Mr Bradney said the cruise was still open for more X series owners to join.
Entry was $10 to cover costs and at the end of the cruise there would be a barbecue and prize draw.
