A 35-year old man received serious injuries in Byford last weekend after he was allegedly stabbed in the shoulder and thumb.
Police and St John Ambulance officers were called to a property on Binshaw Avenue after an altercation occurred between a number of people from two neighbouring properties. The man was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.
Two vehicles outside the properties also received damage during the incident.
Police have since charged a 51-year-old Byford man with an act or omission causing bodily harm.
He will appear at the Armadale Magistrates Court on August 31.
