It’s that time of year again when you can watch the cheesy Christmas movies without fear of being judged.
You know the story line is predictable, the soundtrack features Bing Crosby’s It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and everything will be resolved in the last 10 minutes of the movie ending with a sentimental, sweet happy ending.
What’s not to love?
Settle down with your hot chocolate and enjoy this year’s guilty pleasure How Sarah Got Her Wings.
Good Samaritan Sarah Fitzpatrick (Lindsey Gort) is killed by a bus as she tries to save a puppy while simultaneously planning for the Christmas Eve service at church.
Following her death she finds herself in the reservation room or the Hallmark Channel version of purgatory.
She is surprised to find she cannot move on to Heaven and will be condemned to the other place if she does not help a soul in need.
She has until Christmas Eve to do so.
Sarah is sent back to earth as an angel in training and the only person who can see her is her ex-boyfriend Jordan (Derek Theler).
What follows is a predictable amount of cheesiness, magic and finding the true meaning of love and Christmas.
It’s a perfect feel good festive movie for the whole family to enjoy.
