Members of the Champion Lakes community came together last weekend for a casual Christmas catch-up before the silly season gets underway.
The event, which was jointly organised by members of the Champion Lakes Neighbourhood Watch and Champion Lakes Residents Association was a big hit at the local park.
Association president Dan Attewell said the celebrations went really well with about 150 people in attendance.
“We had a lot of people come from different demographics and many more children attend thanks to the magic show with the Amazing Mr Jim as well as face painting and a visit from Santa himself,” he said.
“It was a great opportunity to come together and get to know your neighbours at a relaxed community event.”
