Canning sea scout Danica, 23, is part of a 200-person contingent representing Australia in Kandersteg, Switzerland, for the centenary of the World Scout headquarters.
She hopes to use the trip as part of completing her gold level of the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
Danica joined the sea scouts when she was 10 and said it had been a great way to develop with lots of memorable experiences along the way.
She is now a section leader and a favourite among young members.
