More than 500 people braved the icy cold temperatures last Saturday night to attend Serpentine’s first Dinner at Dusk event for the season.

Hosted by Barefoot Entertainment and Events the twice-monthly event held at Clem Kentish Oval came to life with many locals enjoying the music, ambience and food on offer.

Managing director Mandi Parker said people of all ages came with picnic blankets and chairs in tow for the family-friendly event.

“We had 12 trucks in total and a busker who performed music from all genres well into the night,” she said.

“The feedback has been amazing and we are looking forward to bringing it to Serpentine twice a month and Byford once a month moving forward.”
