Kensington detectives have identified a man they believe can help them with their enquiries into an indecent assault near Cannington train station on November 11, 2014.
About 2pm a 19-year-old woman was standing on Railway Parade, East Cannington near the station waiting for a friend when she was approached by a man she didn’t know.
The man stood next to the woman and tried to speak to her before grabbing her and indecently assaulting her.
The man let her go and walked off when he saw some people exit a nearby delicatessen.
Police released a description and photograph of the man this morning and he was identified several hours later.
A police spokeswoman said inquiries are continuing.
