Police recovered about $7000 worth of stolen electrical items following a raid at a Gosnells home.

Gosnells Police Acting Senior Sergeant Rob Coales said the home was searched last week following investigations into a burglary in Huntingdale on June 22.

Amongst the property allegedly stolen from the home were the electrical items, jewellery, sunglasses and a gift card.

Snr Sgt Coales said Gosnells Local Policing Team were able to identify the suspects after tracking down footage of the gift card allegedly being used at Carousel Shopping Centre.

When police attended the residence they found the alleged offender wearing the stolen sunglasses.

After searching the home police found an iPod, smart phones, a playstation, laptop, speakers, watches and cameras as well as some cannabis.

A 29-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man were both charged with possession of stolen property and possession of cannabis.

Police inquiries were ongoing.
