The sky’s the limit for equestrian superstar, and Orange Grove Horse and Pony Club member, Teagan Christie, 14.

Earlier this month, Teagan was selected for the inaugural 2021 Pony Club WA State Eventing Squad.

The squad is proudly supported by the Pony Club Eventing Sports Committee and Eventing Western Australia.

Over the next few months, Tegan will receive hands-on training from some of the country’s best equestrian athletes.

The program will help the 14-year-old to improve her skills in dressage, cross country, and show jumping.

“I never thought I would be in this position…it’s all very exciting,” Teagan said.

Teagan is now preparing for the Pony Club Nationals competition and the Australian Interschool Championships, both due to be held in Victoria later this year.

Teagan’s mother, Nicole Christie, said she was extremely proud of her daughter’s accomplishments.

“What Teagan and her horse (Digby) have been able to achieve, in such a short amount of time, has really surprised me,” Ms Christie said.
