Works are underway to build a new education and cultural building at the Perth Hindu Temple.
The $2.8 million federally funded project will feature a stage area, three seminar rooms, a general activity room, kitchen, grassed courtyard and landscaping, as well as additional car parking spaces.
As Perth’s Hindu community grows, this new facility will deliver much needed capacity for cultural education for young people, as well as coordinate services for the elderly and deliver counselling and mentoring to those who need it.
