The City of Armadale said it would be providing free skate clinics until the end of April to give children plenty of chances to get involved during the school holidays.
The workshops would be presented by Skateboarding WA and included demonstrations and coaching sessions at skate parks across the area.
The events would provide an opportunity to learn new skills, be active and have fun in an alcohol and drug-free environment.
They were free events with skateboards and helmets provided.
Clinics will operate on April 8 from 9am to 11am at Armadale Skate Park, April 18 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at Forrestdale Skate Park and April 29 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm at Roleystone Skate Park.
To register for the clinics complete the registration form and email the Youth Officer at Armadale City Council at info@armadale.wa.gov.au. For a full list of the region’s skating facilities visit armadale.wa.gov.au.
