Two Armadale sporting groups that have struggled over the past year could benefit from a $10,000 grant each if Labor wins the upcoming March state election.
Member for Armadale Tony Buti promised the grants to the Armadale Gymnastics Club and Dale Little Athletics earlier this week.
Dale Little Athletics was burgled last month and had equipment stolen from their shed.
Dr Buti said the grant would go towards timing gates and mats to national standards.
Armadale Gymnastics had to start their club from scratch in 2016 after their parent organisation PCYC left the Armadale area in 2015.
Dr Buti said the $10,000 would go toward new technology and gymnastics mattresses.
He said both clubs represented sports that often did not get the same support major sports did but were important to provide healthy and active pursuits for younger people.
