The Gosnells Hawks league, reserves and colts football teams recorded wins over Swan Valley last week but Curtin University Wesley defeated the thirds.
The league team was not at full strength but was able to record a 64-point victory.
Head coach Corey Bertram was happy with his team but is taking a cautious approach in the run to the finals.
The final scores were Gosnells 17.21 (123) Swan Valley 9.5 (59).
Best players were Luke Chapman, Jacob Smith, Eathan Strahan and Dave O’Brien.
The reserve team continues to show improvement and appear to be a certain finals contender.
Final scores were Gosnells 23.9 (147) Swan Valley 3.5 (23) and the best players for the Hawks were Ryan Thompson, Casey Taylor, Joel Johansen and Corey Bertram (5 goals).
The colts team consolidated a position in the top four with a hard fought win over Swan Valley and the final scores were Gosnells 13.14 (92) Swan Valley 7.3 (45) and the best for the Hawks was Kade Pescod.
The thirds gave away a two-goal lead at half time to go down by 29 points.
The final scores were Curtin Uni Wesley 10.19 (79) Gosnells 8.2 (50).
Best players were Bryce Ugle, Callum Burne, Russell Fuller and Kyle Wood.
This week the league and reserves play Canning Vale at Clifton Park, the colts play Bassendean at Jubilee Reserve and the thirds travel to City Beach Reserve to play West Coast at 2.30 pm.
