Mr and Mrs Claus made an appearance at the carols and parade.
Hundreds of families filled Memorial Park on Saturday evening for the City of Armadale’s annual Carols by Candlelight.
A host of performers, characters, and community groups entertained the masses that lined the Jull Street Mall prior to the carols, for the city’s annual Christmas parade.
But it was in the amphitheatre where the real spirit of Christmas shone through as all joined in song to herald in the festive season.
Local music star and vocal coach Katherine John emceed the inclusive event, which was supported by Auslan interpreters, and broadcast live to homes around the globe through the city’s livestream.
While students from Clifton Hills Primary, Armadale Primary, and John Wollaston Anglican Community School teamed up with the Roleystone Theatre Christmas Choir to provide an angelic chorus for the myriad of talented entertainers on stage.
