The under 15s at Kelmscott Junior Cricket Club suffered a narrow defeat on Sunday afternoon.
The nail biting match saw them lose to Serpentine Jarrahdale Cricket Club by five runs with Kelmscott all out for 59 runs.
Coach Natalie Wright said the team had a fantastic season finishing in third position on the leader board.
“The team was a mixed team of boys and girls,” she said.
“They are a great and enthusiastic group who unfortunately buckled under the pressure of Sunday’s game and lost.”
Bowler Shine Sanju said although he was disappointed with the outcome it was a good game.
It was also the last game of the season before cricket starts again later this year.
Ms Wright said the club was always looking at expanding and welcomes new players of all ages.
“We would also like to attract more girls for our new season,” she said.
