Armadale detectives are hunting a masked man who shot a 48-year-old man outside his house in Kenwick Road, Kenwick at 9.30pm on Thursday, January 4.
Police said the man then fled in a vehicle.
St John Ambulance took the victim to Royal Perth Hospital to have a gunshot wound to his hip treated.
The man is currently in Royal Perth Hospital a stable condition.
