The Labor party has pledged to commit more than $25,000 to Roleystone community groups if elected in March’s state election.

The party has committed $12,600 in the Roleystone Theatre, which will provide new lights, sound desks, AV equipment and a video project.

Another $16,300 will be invested in the Roleystone Gymnastics Club for new equipment like parallel bars, landing mats, foam pits and more.

WA Labor candidate for Darling Range Barry Urban said Roleystone had a vibrant local community and it was important to invest in it.

“The funding I’ve secured for the Roleystone Theatre and Roleystone Gymnastics Club will provide much-needed new equipment for these two fantastic local groups,” he said.
