About 2000 people attended the annual Carols by Candlelight event on December 14.
The Civic Amphitheatre in Cannington was filled with Christmas spirit and festivities as Canning residents enjoyed a number of Christmas activities for all ages.
Although the severe heat threatened to hamper crowds the Civic Amphitheatre was jam-packed with Christmas revellers dressed up in hats, Christmas outfits and big smiles.
Santa’s visit was a crowd favourite with the little ones, and the on stage entertainment from the Canning City Brass Band, Rossmoyne Community Singers, Avenue Jazz Band and soloist Sarah Jackson had the crowd singing along and up and dancing all night.
