Liquor store employees chase after shoplifter

WA Police have released CCTV footage of a man whom may be able to assist with enquiries.

Staff at a Willetton liquor store were forced to chase down a shoplifter on Sunday, February 14.

It is alleged the culprit entered the store, located on Burrendah Boulevard, around 7.05pm.

The man entered through the drive-through area, before picking up a carton of beer and running away.

Chasing after the accused, one employee saw the man get into a white sedan which then fled the scene.

The culprit is described as being 25-35 years of age with a solid build, short black hair, and tanned skin.

It is believed he was wearing a black hooded jumper and camo shorts at the time.

Police allege there were at least two other people in the vehicle, one of whom had been in the store just a few minutes prior to the incident.
