Beckenham charity Samskruthi Perth is preparing to celebrate the Diwali Festival in its own distinct ways.

“In light of this, we extend a warm invitation to everyone to partake in a collective celebration, fostering a sense of unity within our wider community by providing aid in the form of food and other essential items,” said general secretary Anu Roy.

“As we recognise that various organisations strive to contribute to the welfare of the local community during the period spanning from Navratri to Diwali, it is our collective responsibility to augment the impact of these efforts by uniting in the spirit of Sewa Diwali.

“By doing so, we can truly create a lasting and meaningful impact in the lives of those in need.”

NRI Rising Club and Samskruthi Perth’s donation of 1389kg of food and essentials was handed over to Foodbank WA.

Their generosity will go a long way in helping those in need during the Sewa Diwali celebration.

“Food is a basic necessity, and by providing such a substantial amount, they have touched the lives of many individuals and families who are experiencing hardship,” she said.
