Our local Miss World Australia hopeful Kidist Begashaw will be cooking up a storm this Saturday.
She’ll be sizzling snags at Armadale Bunnings between 10am and 3pm alongside her whole family in an effort to raise money for Variety the Children’s Charity.
And the supermodel is thrilled to be slipping into an apron.
“I’m proud and excited to be able to network with the community in this way and to do something for the betterment of others,” she said.
The Haynes teen is hoping to raise a minimum of $1000 for Variety, which is partnered with the Miss World Australia competition.
Just as soon as she sets her tongs down, she’ll be packing her bags for the Gold Coast where she’ll take a tilt at the Miss World Australia crown from August 15.
Kidist said her recent win at the Australian Supermodel of the Year competition where she was named ‘Diamond of the Year’ has given her the confidence to sparkle on stage over east.
“I’m feeling empowered and excited, and I think I have what it takes to win,” she said.
