A 40-year-old woman has been charged over the stabbing murder of a man in Maddington on the weekend.
Police were called to the Cedar Way residence about 1am on Sunday following reports a 41-year-old man had received stab wounds.
He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by St John Ambulance in a critical condition and died a short time later.
The 40-year-old Maddington woman was charged with murder and will appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court today.
