The WA Police Tactical Response Group was called to a residence in Gosnells, earlier this week.

A man and a woman – both aged in their 30s – were driving along Toorak Road in Rivervale, around 10pm on Monday, April 12.

After being flagged down by a man, the pair stopped to provide assistance.

The man threatened the pair by intimating that he had a firearm in his possession.

He then stole the pair’s vehicle – a silver Holden Commodore sedan – and fled the scene.

Hours later, a person reported that they had been robbed at gunpoint by a man driving a silver Holden Commodore.

On April 13, the stolen vehicle was spotted outside of a residence on Eileen St, Gosnells.

Due to the risk of a firearm being present, the Tactical Response Group was called in to address the situation.

TRG officers entered the home, before the man was located and taken into custody.

Cannington Detectives and Armadale Detectives are set to conduct further enquiries into the matter.

Anyone with information about the incident has been urged to Contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via crimestopperswa.com.au.
