A 37-year-old Helena Valley man has been charged by Midland Detectives with intent to cause grievous bodily harm or prevent arrest in relation to an assault that occurred in Wattle Grove on 21 October 2023.
A 22-year-old man was left with skull fractures after being struck on the head with a metal object, believed to be a pole, during an altercation outside the Abruzzo Molise Sporting Club on Brook Road, where the two groups clashed.
Two men have already been charged in connection to the incident and are involved in ongoing court proceedings.
The 37-year-old man is scheduled to appear in Armadale Magistrates Court on 5 September 2024.
